He gained a lot of weight before they could start recording the movie and he has a really gross (but cute) interview on some talkshow where he explains how he melted Hägendass chocolate icecream and then poored extra fats in it just to gain weight really fast.

I mean come on if you drink something like that then it's not longer about doing something you're good at, but doing something you love and go all the way for it.
Another mentionable actor is Jim Carrey.
I love his acting in the more serious drama movies, this guy has so much more in him than most people even realise.
